The New Inn, in the heart of the village, has a wedding licence, so you can be married in the oak-beamed Hamlyn Room and enjoy your reception in the heart-warming atmosphere of a village inn. It can cater for a seated reception of up to 30 guests,

The Red Lion Hotel, on the quayside, is also licensed for wedding ceremonies and is a perfect venue for a larger wedding event. Here you will find irresistible backdrops for your wedding photographs – including the quay, the boats, and panoramas of the cliffs and coast. It can host a wedding breakfast of around 50 to 60.

The Clovelly Court Gardens Summerhouse has the right atmosphere for an intimate ceremony and offers many options for your special day when supported by a wedding marquee on The Great Terrace of Clovelly Court, the ancestral home of the owners of Clovelly with marquee space for a wedding party of 200+ guests. From this unique vantage point, there are breathtaking views across Bideford Bay and to the north, to Lundy Island. The Norman church of All Saints is but a short stroll along a tree-lined walk from the terrace.

We can also offer an utterly romantic outdoor wedding venue, the “Wilderness Summerhouse” , situated on the cliff tops to the west of Clovelly village.
