The backdrop of the beautiful Grade 1 listed Hall with its glorious architecture, and fabulous grounds, makes it the ideal location for a wedding.

Whether you intend to have a close intimate wedding with friends and family or require a more creative affair, you have the space and beautiful surroundings to do so. The Hall is provided exclusively to you for your wedding celebrations, with the spacious West wing accommodation a few steps across the lawn, sleeping up to eight wedding guests and the delightful landscaped gardens for you to enjoy.

The Hall decorated in rich colours, with high ceilings, detailed cornicing and walls adorned with splendid portraits, enables you and your guests to savor one of Britain’s hidden gems.

The main reception can comfortably seat 60 guests for a Civil ceremony, and the drawing rooms and central hall with its sweeping staircase are ideal for a more intimate ceremony. If you were to choose a civil ceremony in the main reception you would need to have a marquee or tipi for your reception in our beautiful grounds. Either situated overlooking the splendid parkland views and hall or hidden in the walled garden surrounded by apple trees, and a long Georgian greenhouse.

Capheaton is a venue only and whether you would like to choose your own suppliers or work with our highly recommended suppliers list, we want your time at Capheaton to be exceptional. To assure of this we are working with Anna from Anna Rainbow Events Management (www.annarainbow.co.uk) a wedding and events coordinator with over 20 years experience in events management. As part of the Capheaton price you will have the opportunity to have three (2 hour) consultations with Anna prior to the wedding, and then she will be there to assist on the actual Wedding day.
