On a grand Georgian estate, this elegant resort lies off the A1 motorway, 1.4 miles from Barnack village centre.
The 12 plush apartments occcupy the castlelike main house, converted stables and a chapel, as well as a clock tower. All have full kitchens, private bathrooms and living areas. In the grounds, other options include yurts, quirky cottages and vintage caravans (including a fire truck), each with access to shared toilets and showers, and laundry facilities. The yurts add toilet cabins. None have electricity; all have access to outdoor taps.
