In 2007, the house was refurbished using period and heritage paints, fabrics and fixtures. It epitomises country house style and the grandeur is sympathetic to the feel of the house back in 1829.

In the main house, the Panelled Hall is licensed for ceremonies and partnerships. It is the main reception area of the house and ceremonies of all types and sizes are conducted here. The Library and The Ante Room are cosy informal spaces, suitable for relaxing in the splendid views of the gardens and enjoying a drink from the bar. The Pavilion is a truly spectacular room. It seats 120 for dinner and is the wedding reception venue of choice year after year. The room is drenched in natural light and the French doors frame vistas of the Hodsock Estate and open out onto the ornamental Italian Terrace.
