Nether Winchendon House is one of the most romantic of the ancient historic houses in England and listed Grade I, set in seven acres of tranquil Gardens and surrounded by 600 acres of Parkland, on the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire border.

With curling Tudor chimneys, Nether Winchendon House is crenellated and partially encased in stucco and from its Medieval origins, this extraordinary house has evolved into the fabulous and exciting mixture of styles it is today. On your Wedding Day your photographs can be taken amongst old walled gardens, by ornate wrought iron gates or at the water’s edge. More formal photographs can be taken inside, where sunlight floods through tall gothic windows and vibrant colours of stained glass fill the rooms of The Great Hall and The Dining Room.

Exclusively yours on your Wedding Day, your Wedding Reception at Nether Winchendon House can be held either at The Carriage Barn or in a variety of romantic marquee wedding venue locations within the gardens, all close to the house. The doors of The Carriage Barn lead directly onto its own orchard and Bridal Garden. Marquee wedding receptions can be held on The East Lawn or in The Walled Garden. Afternoon Tea with Vintage china is wonderful under the trees on the South Lawn.

You can stay on the night before your Wedding in The West House with your Bridesmaids and we have The Bridal Cottage for your first night together as 'Husband and Wife'.
