Originally a Lavender farm & hotel the Grove has a fascinating steeped history. Built by the crafty Georgians, the building is actually on stilts as sitting so close to the river. Having had a bit of a chequered past with fires, flooding & cars driving through the building (don’t ask) we synthetically refurbished the building in the Spring of 2015. Now boasting a tap room with Kentish ales taken directly from the cask, an open planned garden kitchen & bar, a huge riverside terrace & the six en suite bedrooms we host weary travellers from near & afar, families looking for a unique and characterful venue where they can all relax & a host of weddings & parties in our rustic riverside boathouse.
