Built in 1992 of brick and flint, the award-winning Winterbourne Glebe Hall
echoes the traditional architecture of local Wiltshire villages.
Designed to blend into a very attractive area of the village, the Glebe
Hall adjoins St Michael's Church and is surrounded by the open, grassed
areas of the Glebe Lands and mature trees which all form part of a
conservation area. It also has the benefit of being at the centre of the 3
villages that form The Winterbournes.
The Glebe Hall is the perfect venue for Conferences, Meetings,
Wedding Receptions and Private functions.
Parking for up to 50 cars, with further parking available.
Daytime hire £12.50 per hour. Weekend and Evening parties, rates on
request.
Room 1 The Main Hall has 3 large west-facing French doors letting in plenty of
natural light and leading to the outside paved area & car park.
Beechwood floor & hardwood finishes throughout, brick fascia below serving
hatch from kitchen. Tastefully decorated & with full-length curtains, this
spacious room has warmth & character making this a popular venue for
wedding receptions and large family celebrations.
The Glebe Hall is a frequently-chosen location for parties, clubs &
meetings in the Bourne Valley and has been used for youth group activities
such as Cub sleepovers & Brownie pack holidays.
The layout of the Main Hall is adaptable for various layouts; concert-style
in rows, restaurant-style seated around tables etc. The Main Hall has
overhead flourescent lighting, full integral stage with curtains, drop-down
slide screen, audio system with induction loop, sufficient stacking chairs
& folding tables to suit different layouts.

Room 2 Annex Area is a useful small room which can be used in conjunction with the
main hall (access through 2 pairs of double doors) or the rear meeting
room.
French doors leading to the outside paved area. Full-width serving hatch from
kitchen ideally suited for use as a bar. Piano.

Room 3 Ron Burton Room - rear meeting room, carpeted & curtained, with French
doors leading to the outside paved area. Useful as a committee room for
small meetings or conferences. It provides a pleasant & comfortable room and
is available to hire separately from the Main Hall if required.
Capacity Capacity of Rear Meeting Room 60 people
Kitchen Facilities Large, fully equipped kitchen with wide serving hatch (with pull-down
shutter) to Main Hall. Stable-style door to outside, allowing
loading/unloading to kitchen directly from vehicle.
Fixtures and Fittings Kitchen equipment includes Falcon catering gas stove with 6 burners & oven,
commercial dishwasher, instantaneous hot water boiler, stainless steel
double
sink, fridge-freezer, plenty of work surfaces, full range of crockery &
cutlery.
