Upton Lovell is conveniently located close to the A36 between Heytesbury and Codford.
The building was originally erected in 1871 as the village school, it closed in 1934 and was later acquired by the Parish Council and set up as the Village Hall and is now run as a registered charity.
The hall is quietly situated at the end of a lane next to the church with ample parking. It was fully refurbished in 1999 with support from the Millennium commission, County, District councils and local contributions, with essential help from Community First.
The hall has access for the disabled and toilets for the disabled, Junckers hardwood flooring, a modern kitchen and toilets, background heating from storage heaters with additional infra-red heaters when needed.
Art and craft groups often sit outside in good weather given the space and quiet position.

£50 for hire of Hall for weddings and funerals with sound and video equipment as extension to Church.
Projector, screen and sound equipment - £20 charge in addition to Hall charge. For use in Hall only.
