Established in 1970, the Portcullis Club is the meeting place for the Kenley & Caterham branch of the Royal Air Forces Association.
The Portcullis Clubhouse stands in a corner of the famous Kenley Airfield (Victor Beamish Avenue, Caterham, CR3 5FX) where the 615 Squadron were based during World War 2. They flew their Hurricane and Spitfire aircrafts during the Battle of Britain defending London from bombing raids in 1940-45.
