UHSA was set up in 1974 to administer and manage the Sports and Social facilities at Hall Lane Playing Fields.
The Complex is centrally situated in Hall Lane , Upminster , with its entrance next to the Upminster Golf Club (see Location page for map) . There is a large Car Park and a short walk down towards the Complex in the playing fields.
After a Major extension and refurbishment project, costing £250,000 and taking two years, the project was completed in October 2012 and the Complex now boasts nine changing rooms, four with integral showers, a professional physiotherapy centre for sports players and a vastly extended banqueting facility and hall, now known as TWO GABLES.
