The town has a number of public houses and the Fairhurst Bistro is just a few steps away from Waterford House.

There are many places of local interest in and around Middleham. Middleham Castle, once home to Richard III, towers above the town to provide a breathtaking backdrop where tourists and visitors can explore the Keep and take in the beautiful panorama of the surrounding countryside.
