What a season 2014 was for Barnard Castle Cricket Club. The highest NYSD ECB Premier League placing in the clubs history was delivered with 7 Barney lads regularly in the side, a testimony to the successful junior programme which is supported and financed by our fantastic sponsors.
The achievement though was almost overlooked thanks to two outstanding cup final victories, the Kerridge Cup in July and the Teeside University 15/15 Cup in August. Both producing fantastic performances from our local, Yorkshire based and overseas players.
This mixture of local junior talent and skilled overseas players is only possible thanks to the passionate and generous support of all our sponsors and we would like to thank each and every contribution towards the club in 2014.
