Overlooking the Exe Estuary and situated in an area of outstanding and protected natural beauty at the end of the historic Exeter Canal,
The Turf provides a wonderful setting where you can relax and enjoy great food and drinks and friendly service from a family run pub.
Clive and Ginny Redfern took over Turf in 1990 and, together with their sons James and Oliver, have continued to renovate and improve this fascinating timber framed slate hung listed building. This is a proper pub. There are no carpets, just pine strip floors making our pub ideal for muddy paws and muddy kids.
