The Village
Milton Lilbourne lies in agricultural land two miles from Pewsey. It has a
population of about 500.
The Hall
The hall was originally built in the mid-1970s and is made of brick under
a slate roof. There is a large attached sports field including a full size
football pitch. There is parking for about 30 vehicles.
Regular activities include
Art Club, Pilates Class,Yoga, U3A dance group, Guides/Brownies, Parish
Council, with a variety of
committee led events such as Summer Fayre, skittles evenings, live ferret
racing, curry evenings, quiz evening, christmas and easter bingo's and the
popular Rough and Tumble run.
2007 saw the provision of a disabled lavatory and the installation of
double glazed windows and doors. In 2008 we have created a new kitchen and
resurfaced the floor and 2009 brought a new "green" heating system.
Room 1 Main Hall, can seat up to 80 around tables and up to 100 "Theatre Style".
Heating is provided via our new (2009) Ground Source Heating System.
