Bedlington Community Centre occupies a prime position right in the middle of the town's main street. It is well served by local bus services and close to ample free parking facilities.

Rescued from disuse in 2011 and now extensively updated, the centre is run solely by volunteers and has a wide range of facilities ideal for live music, dance and theatre events, family celebrations, classes, meetings or conferences.

The Upstairs is a very versatile space, ideal for large events. There is a platform lift, making the room fully accessible and, with a fully licensed bar and access to a fully functioning kitchen, we're able to provide a great service. The room can be laid out in a variety of ways. We can even give you access to the room early if you'd like to add a special touch with banners or balloons.

There are also meeting rooms and an IT suite available for hire.

Our IT Suite has a digital screen and overhead projector, as well as 12 fully-equipped work stations.

The suite is suitable for formal and informal meetings, classes or training courses. It is adjacent to our Community Café, accessible through interconnecting doors - ideal as a break-out space and for refreshments.

We welcome enquiries from organisations wishing to deliver training in the community at a an accessible venue, and from businesses wishing to get away from the work environment.

This suite can be hired for £15 per hour or £45 for 4 hours (25% off) or £80 for 8 hours (33% off).

Adjacent to the main entrance of the building, with French doors (fire doors) opening directly outside.

Flooded with natural light and situated right next to the main entrance door of the building, this room is ideal for a range of purposes, including public meetings or training sessions.

The room can easily be cleared of furniture and adapted for use as an exercise class. Exercise / play mats are available by prior arrangement.

Another very light room which benefits from the large bay window at the front of the building.

Excellent for training sessions and meetings, as well as small assemblies, this room is equipped with a digital screen and OHP. It is adjacent to both Meeting Room 1 and to the IT Suite and so ideal if multiple rooms are required.

Accommodating up to ten people for meetings, this room may seem small, but its secret lies in the added value it can give to events booked in our wonderful function space, The Upstairs.

Meeting Room 3 has been used regularly as a buffet room, a children's party room, a breakout space, and also as a dressing room when we have music and dance events and fashion shows in the main room

NB: Meeting Room 4 - There is another similar sized room available upstairs in the centre that can be made available if you need extra space.

These can be hired for £12 per hour or £36 for 4 hours (25% off) and £64 for 8 hours (33% off).
