Merton Hall was built in the early 1960’s by Morpeth Castle Ward as a place for people to meet and socialise. Each week Monday to Saturday (9.30 a.m until 11.15 a.m) volunteers serve coffee, tea, juice and biscuits at a very low cost.

There are various community groups that use the Hall to play Bridge, relax with Tai Chi, paint a picture, join the Photographic Society or History Society plus many more. The Hall is also used to host many events all year round, why not come and see us and make new friends. Join our group of friendly volunteers.
