The hall is managed by a community committee and is funded through hall charges, hall fundraising events, running the bar, the 100 club and grants. It is also the location of a community garden, integrated sound and video equipment (suitable for cinema or presentations) and an emergency defibrillator.
The hall also provides high-speed broadband, available free of charge, to its users.

The venue itself is not large but consists of a main hall and small meeting room, with a separate kitchen and a separate bar area.
The main hall features a small permanent stage and fixed benches round the sides. There is an integrated sound/video/cinema system available for a small extra charge.
Access to the kitchen, bar and male toilets are all via the main hall.
Please note: Free high-speed broadband access is available throughout the hall but there is no or limited mobile signal.

The kitchen may be booked for a small additional charge when booking the venue. Charging is made on two bases:
1) Light use: for teas and coffees (including light washing up) only or
2) Full use - use of the full facilities (oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, tea urn, etc.).

The Bar is available on two bases:
1) The Hall will run and staff the bar. There is no additional charge for this facility when bars are booked as part of a larger event).
2) Hirers may run their own bar. There is an additional charge for allowing this and hirers must provide copies of their own permanent or special event license. They must also provide their own stock and man the bar themselves - the venue will provide glasses, optics, two small fridges, glass washer (instructions are provided) and a dedicated bar space.
