The Village Hall is situated in the pretty village of Wittersham which is part of the Isle of Oxney on the road between Tenterden and Rye. The building consists of a large main hall and a small club room with wheelchair access into the building.
This allows for larger functions and/or one or two smaller ones. There is a large unisex disabled toilet and two ladies and gentlemen’s toilets. There is a large car park to the rear and a children’s play area. As this is on the main street it makes it ideal for events, parties and weddings as the church is 500 yards away. The local school is 600 yards away.
The hall is used regularly during the week with various clubs from dog training to Pilates and Tai chi to a market on a Tuesday morning with Post Office facilities in the club room. It is also used by many societies such as WI and the British Legion.
