A very friendly family welcome awaits you at the historic The 1645 Inn.

Run by Louise and Douglas Harrison, the Inn is located in the small country village of Auldearn, just 2 miles from Nairn between Inverness (capital of the Highlands) and the historic town of Elgin in Moray.
It is an ideal location from which to explore the magnificent scenery of the North and West Highlands, Moray, Speyside, the Cairngorms and Aberdeenshire.
Whether you are here for the history, the whisky or the outdoor life, there's something for everyone!

We pride ourselves on being a family establishment and our daughters, Claire and Laura, are often on hand to greet guests.
