Available to host conferences, gala dinners, weddings and much more, this unique venue tells the story of industry and innovation in Wales, now and over the last 300 years, and is ready to welcome you and your event.

Our Warehouse Gallery is located on the first floor of the historic Victorian building and can host up to 200 guests for a sit-down dinner and up to 250 with theatre-style seating.

This unique and flexible gallery houses the museum’s incredible maritime collection. With original industrial features including wooden ceilings, iron beams, warehouse doors and porthole windows, this space offers your guests a view overlooking Swansea’s Maritime Quarter and its vessels during your event.

Ideal for hosting gala dinners, awards ceremonies, large receptions and even performances. The gallery comes equipped with a projector, large screen and PA system.

The Warehouse Gallery pairs wonderfully with hiring our Upper Foyer and Balcony.

Our venue is fully accessible with lifts to all levels and access toilets located throughout the museum.

The Upper Foyer is a large 360 gallery space with exhibits surrounding the stairwell with glass doors opening onto the Marina Balcony. The balcony opens to views across Swansea Marina and its vessels. The space offers a relaxing private aspect above the hustle and bustle of Marina life.

The Upper Foyer also boasts an ever-popular Digital wall. Display a vista of your and your partners’ corporate logos. It is also popular with wedding couples for displaying photos at drinks receptions.

Ideal for receptions and/or events up to 200.

The New Gallery, another available for hire, displays some of the Museum’s most fascinating industrial objects including a steam engine, a 1907 plane and coal wagon. This unique setting provides a great talking point for an evening reception.

Our venue is fully accessible with lifts to all levels and access toilets located throughout the museum.

Our Ocean Room is full of natural light and is located in the historic Warehouse; it has Victorian industrial features such as the sliding doors.

The space comes fully equipped with projectors, screens and an inbuilt PA system. Easily accessible on the ground floor of the museum, the Ocean Room overlooks the picturesque Marina with an entrance via the Colonnade.

Ideally suited for conferences, meetings and team days, the Ocean Room is a versatile space and works well in a variety of set-ups. Capacities range from 80 in cabaret to 150 in theatre style. Further technical equipment and support are available, from staging, lecterns and microphones to technical staffing and hybrid conferencing.

The Colonnade is a long glass walled walkway and venue that links the Ocean Room, the Weston Hall and the Museum Garden with glass double doors. It has a public entrance that leads out onto Marina Square. It is best suited as a conference exhibitions space, to host catering for Ocean Room hires or even as a drinks reception space. It has a maximum capacity of 200 standing.

Our most popular meeting spaces, Dockside and Cityside, are located in the historic warehouse and are flooded with light.

Cityside has large windows overlooking Victorian railway arches and is full of original features including its wooden beam ceiling, and Dockside boasts views of the marina and its vessels.

These spaces are ideal for team meetings, presentations or workshops, or as breakout spaces for conferences.

Both our meeting rooms are equipped with projectors and AV facilities. The spaces are fully accessible via lift and Dockside has double doors with assisted entry.

Our meeting rooms can accommodate up to 20 in boardroom set-up and 40 in theatre style.
