The Aldbourne War Memorial Hall was opened on the 7th July 1922 to provide a worthy tribute to those men from the village that died during the First World War, or shortly afterwards from injuries sustained during the conflict.


The Hall has always been at the centre of village life and today provides a venue for community events and private hire.

The Hall provides a venue for a variety of village clubs and groups. It is the home of the (prize winning) Aldbourne Band, the W.I. hold their monthly meetings and ALEC performances and rehearsals are held there. Social groups and fitness classes run weekly.
