Ranfurly Castle celebrated it’s 125th Anniversary in 2014, making it the oldest Golf Club in Renfrewshire. The course is widely recognised as one of the finest "Classic" courses and is acknowledged as one of the best moorland courses in Scotland.

Our course was originally laid out over a century ago on naturally well draining land. It is set in the hills above Bridge of Weir where we enjoy magnificent views over the Renfrewshire countryside, the Clyde valley and north to Ben Lomond and the Scottish mountains. The course has been chosen for many prestigious golf tournaments including the PGA Assistants’ Match Play Championship, the Scottish Girls’ Championship and last year the Scottish Area Team Championships.
