“Ranfurly Castle is a superb golf course, in terms of condition, layout and setting – it is a great test of golf for all levels. I can understand why some members do not want to play elsewhere because we are definitely spoiled here. Being able to walk on to the first tee at almost any time, the extensive practice facilities, the service provided by Tom Eckford and his staff or the opportunity to play a few holes after work are just some of the attributes of this club”.

Our course was originally laid out over a century ago on naturally well draining land. It is set in the hills above Bridge of Weir where we enjoy magnificent views over the Renfrewshire countryside, the Clyde valley and north to Ben Lomond and the Scottish mountains. The course has been chosen for many prestigious golf tournaments including the PGA Assistants’ Match Play Championship, the Scottish Girls’ Championship and last year the Scottish Area Team Championships.
