Established and opened in 1980, Thorne is an exquisite Parkland Course set in the heart of South Yorkshire's beautiful countryside, and only minutes from the M180.Thorne boasts 3 elegant water featured holes as well as tight fairways that are watched over by nearly 6000 fully developed trees. The course is family owned by Mr & Mrs. Richard Highfield and the course is managed by their son Edward & the clubhouse by daughter-in-law Hannah. We welcome players of all ages and abilities. Our course has been designed with a variety of holes that are both easy for the beginner yet challenging for the most avid golfer.
