Ideally situated on the outskirts of the market town of Diss, right on the Norfolk/ Suffolk border, we have great transport links to Ipswich, Norwich, Thetford and Bury St Edmunds.
The Clubhouse:
We have a large, free car park and our clubhouse facility is available for hire at great prices for members and non-members. We are a perfect facility for functions and events, such as wakes, Christmas parties, birthday celebrations, anniversaries, sports club dinners and much more...
Our clubhouse houses a friendly, relaxed bar area and informal restaurant, providing a welcoming environment to relax and socialise within. Our facilities are fully adaptable, allowing for a wide range of family, business and other social events. In recent years, we’ve hosted numerous functions, such as wedding receptions, anniversaries, funeral wakes, company Christmas parties, birthday parties, sports club social events, retirement parties and business meetings, plus regular lunches and dinners.
Every Sunday we provide a delicious and popular two course carvery lunch, comprising a choice of two meat roasts, seasonal vegetables, all the usual trimmings and a choice of desserts. Non-members are very welcome to join us for our Sunday carvery between 12:30-2:30pm
Just minutes from the centre of Diss town and the train station, within easy access of the main routes to Norwich, Ipswich, Great Yarmouth, Thetford and Bury St Edmunds and offering views over our attractive heathland golf course, our venue is a great place to host your business meeting.
Wakes:
Our clubhouse is a fitting venue to gather and share precious memories of lives departed. Benefitting from a very large, free of charge car park, we are able to accommodate up to 130 guests in our restaurant and bar area.
A variety of finger buffet options are available and prices start at £6.50 per person
Parties:
Dance the night away at Diss Golf Club, a unique and memorable function venue. Our great value bar is stocked with a wide range of local draft and bottled beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks and we offer a range of delicious and great value catering options. Guests are welcome to arrange their own DJ or singer/band.
