Welcome to a challenging 18 hole parkland course in the heart of Berkshire. Enjoy a round or two with friends as part of a mid-week or weekend break or if you are local to the Berkshire area you may be interested in playing on a more regular basis. Our membership fees start from just £73.
The parkland course is set in beautiful rolling countryside, and is a challenging 6353 yards, 18 hole, par 71 from the back tees. Although some of the holes are quite forgiving the closing four holes are regarded as one of the toughest finishes in the country, with water featuring prominently on 15th, 16th and 17th holes.
After a rewarding morning or afternoon on the course, the clubhouse, Snelsmore House, a Grade II listed Victorian building, is the ideal place to relax and enjoy a drink or a bite to eat.
The clubhouse, Snelsmore House, a Grade II listed Victorian building, commands magnificent views over the 9th/18th green and offers golfers exceptional golfing and social facilities including two bars; the informal Spike Bar and the more traditional Oak Room, great for golfing lunches and meetings. The Cedar Room on the first floor is ideal for private dining & wedding receptions in Newbury.
