The Corn Exchange is your local community centre, a facility that belongs to the people of St Ives.
Step inside from The Pavement and every day you’ll find something remarkable going on. Whether it’s an indoor market, a youth theatre, exercise and dancing classes, a craft exhibition, a business conference… or just local folk taking a break and chatting over a cup of tea.
We have meeting and function rooms as well as the main hall and can accommodate groups from 2-300 dependent on the type of event. We cater for small meetings up to concerts and everything in between.
There are lots of activities in lots of rooms which have been superbly maintained following a £1 million refurbishment in 2010 paid for by local people through the St Ives Town Council as well as by local businesses, individual sponsors and by ACE fundraisers, the Friends of St Ives Corn Exchange.
If you haven’t been inside yet, just drop in and chat to our volunteers – like them, we hope you’ll be delighted that the building has been saved for the use of our local community.
