We are a private members' Club formed in 1914 by a group of local businessmen to provide a meeting place originally for men only, but thankfully this changed many years ago and ladies and gentlemen and their family and friends are now most welcome to join.



The Club is conveniently situated in the centre of the town in King Edward Road, Chatteris, with its own large private members' car park, and within walking distance of all the main town facilities. In recent years, the Club has undergone major refurbishments to provide an attractive lounge area to meet with friends and a large function room in which the Club holds functions for members; the function room can also be hired for private occasions.

The Club is open seven days a week on Mondays to Thursdays from 11.00am to 2.30pm, and from 6.00pm to 11.00pm, on Fridays and Saturdays from 11.00am through to midnight, and on Sundays from 11.30am to 3.00pm, and from 8.00pm to 10.30pm.

All residents of Chatteris and the surrounding area are welcome to join, and indeed, initially visit us to see what the Club has to offer. We have a busy entertainments diary for members and, additionally, hold various fundraising activities throughout the year local charity organisations. We also have teams which play in various leagues including snooker, dominoes, darts and crib. Amongst our members we are pleased to say that we have Joe Perry, one of the world's top snooker players in our snooker team, and the former European boxing champion Dave "Boy" Green playing for our domino team. New players are always welcome.

The bar offers a variety of soft drinks, teas and coffees, beers, including real ales, and other alcoholic drinks throughout our opening times and our regular bar staff will offer a warm welcome to all our visitors to the Club, as, indeed, will our part time bar staff who normally work on a Monday and Tuesday. Food is available within the Club from Thursdays to Sundays inclusive, including a special Grill Night on Friday evenings and traditional roast lunches on Sunday lunch times.

The function room, which can seat up to 100 people, is proving very popular as a venue for special occasions, such as weddings, christening, anniversaries, birthday parties and the like, and it is also used for Club functions throughout the year.

We welcome all new members, particularly newcomers to Chatteris, and hope they will enjoy the exceptionally friendly atmosphere within the Club, along with the facilities it provides. Potential new members are welcome to call in at any time without appointment to have a look around the Club.
