Murthly Castle, along with its walled garden and chapel, is your own private space for your event.

As a private family home, there are no other events or visitors to distract us from making your event the best it can be. Relax in the knowledge that you have plenty time to set things up as you want, with our personal help and advice at hand whenever you need it.

The castle is near Dunkeld and Birnam, a small, attractive settlement on the River Tay with plentiful accommodation. It takes 20 minutes to get here from Perth, and one hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow. View Murthly Castle on Google Maps.

For weddings the castle, adjoining chapel, walled garden and wider grounds make for a relaxed setting in a private environment.

For corporate and private hire, three large rooms dating from the Victorian period are available for hire. These can be set up for dining, entertaining, meetings, conferences or filming. All three rooms overlook the 17th century garden, which can also be used.

Catering can be provided, and we also have many conference facilities, such as separate meeting rooms and projector and screen.
