The World Heritage City of Bath in the 18th Century boasted two gentlemen's clubs; 'The York Club' and 'The New Club'. However, by the mid-19th Century, (1858 to be exact), the two were combined to create, 'The Bath & County Club'. Originally based in Queen Square, the Club moved, in later years, to its present position on Queen's Parade.

The Club has flourished throughout the 20th and 21st Centuries, welcoming ladies and gentlemen from all walks of life.

This secluded and elegant venue, nestled in the heart of beautiful Bath, provides its members with many in-house social activities and events. Examples include; black tie dinners, informal lunches, Rubber Bridge, lessons in language and games, talks and films. Members may also take advantage of other exciting happenings away from the Club's premises, such as, foreign trips.

One of the principal attractions of becoming a member of The Bath & County Club is our large number of Reciprocal Clubs located in the UK and overseas, which allows you, through us, to "connect with the world."
