In 2003 the current family bought Broomhall Castle with a view to turning it into a small hotel. Extensive works have been carried out including a new restaurant with exposed stonework and a lounge to enjoy your before and after dinner drinks.
Conference & Meeting Rooms
Broomhall Castle can provide small or large conference and meeting rooms and depending on requirements and chosen layout, we can accommodate numbers of up to 100 delegates.
We can provide the following layouts : cabaret, horseshoe, boardroom, classroom and theatre style.
We have one large room and two smaller rooms which can be used for your function room and breakout areas.
Our rooms can be booked for either a full or half day hire or even just one or two hours.
An lcd projector, screen, flipcharts, pens and paper, water, cordial and mints are included in your conference package.
Free on site parking and public area wifi also available free of charge.
Weddings and Celebrations
From intimate weddings to family and friends taking over the whole castle we have it all covered and each and every wedding is uniquely tailored to suit each bride and groom...after all it's your wedding not ours !
For those of you looking to get married here, we have a dedicated wedding planner to help you through each step and if you live that little bit further away or even in another country we can still keep the plans on track via phone calls or emails, and to top it all off staying in the castle on the night of your wedding for you and your guests is an ideal way to end your special day. We can host up to 150 guests for a reception and for those looking for a more formal sit down meal we can cater for up to 100 either in our restaurant or main function room. Smaller, private rooms are also available.

Our Restaurant is open every evening from 6pm - 9pm (pre-booking recommended) and our chefs use wherever possible only the finest fresh local ingredients in preparing our food and are always on hand to discuss any special dietary requirements you may have.
Bedrooms
Our 16 individually designed en-suite bedrooms which consist of : 2 Four-Poster Rooms, 2 Family Rooms and 12 Double Rooms, have all been refurbished to a high standard and have either King Size or Superking Size solid wooden beds.
