The wedding room, with its amazing 2m mirror surrounded by Italian marble, can seat up to 80 wedding guests. Complete with aisle and separate heavy oak entry doors for the bride to enter and the groom separately. Use the formal rooms, including the black and white marble entrance hall complete with 4 marble pillars, the Portrait Gallery which leads to the wedding room and music room.
Enjoy southerly views over the beautifully kept formal gardens and parkland. In addition there is a sweeping Italian stone staircase with balcony on which to frame some lovely wedding day photographs or if you prefer, in any one of the stunning formal rooms.
Through Eaglesfield, 6 miles from Gretna Green, drive up one of Springkell’s five drives, through half a mile of parkland and woodland and over the Kirtle River. Approaching Springkell from the West, park and walk in over the marble floored porch with the family crest in the stained glass windows.

Very large room, 8 metres x 12 metres, with capacity for 100 seated, or 70 seated and 80 standing. Often used for Weddings but we can also lay this room out for 100 to eat and be served to tables. In the evenings this room can have tables in it for guests to sit at and talk with their friends. We can even put a temporary bar at the back of the room if you wish

This is where we hold most of our Weddings or functions. At 100 sq metres it's a lovely large room but not too big. We regularly have 100 Wedding Guests eating here and we have even laid it out for 4! After eating we clear some of the tables and leave 5 round tables with seating for 50 and there in the middle of the room is the new dance floor. Your band or DJ sets up in the south east corner and off you go. We also use this room for conferences where we can seat up to 150 and when smaller groups stay with us we can set up the rectangular tables so that they all look into each other in a square formation which makes for a lovely way to seat all your guests

Fully stocked with over 30 whiskies, the best wines, West 4 Lager on tap, brewed by Germans in Glasgow, Thatchers Cider, Black Sheep and Guinness and all the usual suspects and Shweppes and Fever Tree. Built by Bruce McGarva and Designed by our Architects in Edinburgh it often becomes the focus of an evening. It's a decent size neither too small nor too large. We often hold our Wedding Tasting meals in the Lion Bar as it has a nice feel to it.

This is a lovely large room for you and your guests to sit in. If it's cold the open log fire will be on and toasty. We have 4 sofas and 8 comfortable chairs for you to relax in along with a very large Panasonic TV with DVD player and Sky. The sitting room opens out onto the formal south gardens.

We call this the snug room. With large Panasonic TV, Wii, PS3 or PS4, Driving Wheel, DVD, Blu-Ray it's quite a games room. With a large sofa and 2 smaller comfortable chairs it's a great room to catch up with friends too. The open log burner keeps you warm

Ideal for Weddings, parties and get togethers and Corporate Events. 11 Bedrooms are on the first floor and 3 on the ground floor. We have 2 Honeymoon Suites, 1 Suite with Disabled Access and DDA compliant, 2 family rooms, 1 twin room and the rest are lovely large doubles. Some of the rooms we can change into twin rooms. The room size is the largest bedroom, the smallest is 4m x 4m - still quite large
