Lighthorne Village Hall description
Village Hall
Medium (1-150)
The village hall was built in 1967 on land granted by Miss Claire Verney.
It is run entirely by a voluntary management committee.
The hall was refurbished in 1995, when following subsidence, the roof, doors, and windows were replaced. Full oil central heating replaced the old electric fan heaters in early 1999 following a major fund raising effort. The interior of the hall was redecorated throughout, in June/July 2000.
The Hall was again refurbished in 2006 with an extension to and complete refit of the kitchen, and the provision of disabled toilet facities.
