Stokewood Leisure Centre is our community leisure facility in the Winton/Charminster area of Bournemouth which opened as a public baths in 1930.

The centre now offers a 25 yard swimming pool, sauna, an aerobics studio providing over 70 classes per week, a spinning studio and gym. We also offer a personal training service and the centre is home to several local sports clubs for activities including triathlon, waterpolo, lifeguard training and Kanku Shotokan Karate. You can enjoy activities on a pay as you go basis; regular customers could save money and use all four of our leisure centres with a BH Live Fitness membership package.

A popular location for pool parties, swimming lessons with the Bournemouth Swimming Academy and school swimming sessions, the centre attracts on average over 5,000 participants each week.

Stokewood Leisure Centre maintains an optimum level of cleanliness at all times. All areas are regularly checked by our staff. Please inform a member of our staff if you see any issues regarding cleanliness or have ideas on how we can improve.

Stokewood Leisure Centre is QUEST accredited and enjoys excellent working relationships with local community groups, Bournemouth University and local schools.
