The Greyhound Inn, Gerrards Cross description

Pub / Restaurant

Medium (1-150)

The Greyhound Inn has been a focal point in Chalfont St Peter since the 14th Century, set on the London Road and beside the River Misbourne. For more than 600 years, this grade 2 listed Coaching Inn has been providing superb hospitality and refreshment to weary travellers and villagers alike. Notable past guests include Oliver Cromwell, Winston Churchill and the notorious Judge Jeffreys who held his assizes here and dispatched his unfortunate victims on the gallows by the river. The only hanging you will witness today is around the historic bar.
