WELCOME TO THE ROSE & CROWN RIDGMONT - UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT JUNE 2013
The Rose and Crown has been at the heart of our community and our vibrant village life at Ridgmont for over 300 years. While we haven’t been here quite that long, we’re proud to continue the tradition of good old fashioned service, home cooked food and a warm welcome for all!
The whole village is delighted that the recently opened bypass has returned Ridgmont to a quiet rural haven for families, walkers, caravaners or day-trippers.
Visiting Woburn Safari?
Woburn Safari Park is only 500m along the road and the busy city of Milton Keynes is within easy reach for a spot of retail therapy or even an indoor snowboarding or skydiving session! So, whether you’re after a quiet pint after a long country walk, or outdoor dining in our ample gardens, a local village celebration, a themed quiz night or a children’s party in our Stables, there’s always something happening at The Rose and Crown.
High quality food
High quality and traditional English food is always on the menu at The Rose and Crown. We use only fine ingredients to create seasonal menus of great pub grub.
There are daily specials and regular themed night - including curry night on Wednesdays, and steak night on Thursday - but Marek's specialty is the Sunday roast. With a choice of beef, lamb, pork or chicken, all roasts are served with all trimmings, including roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and gravy. Marek is a chef with over 31 year's of experience, having worked around Europe - and has even completed training courses with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
