We welcome Day Visitors playing the Montrose Links courses to make full use of our facilities and catering. Just ring the door buzzer. Our Medal course is a classic Scottish links layout, with a formidable history stretching back to 1562, which makes it the fifth oldest course in the world. The Medal is consistently listed in the Golf Monthly World's Top 100 courses and celebrated its 450th year in 2012.
The Medal course is complemented by our Broomfield links which is maintained to the same high standards. Originally a nine-hole course, the Broomfield was extended to 18 holes in 1915 and now measures 4,800 yards. The Course does not require long carries from the tee, but accurate approach shots are a must to find the small greens.
