A Golf fanatic since early childhood, I first joined Kilsyth Lennox in 1998
I have served on the Committee for the past 5 years and have also dedicated many hours of my own time to helping in any way I could to help and develop our course.

It fills me with great pride to be appointed as Captain for 2015. I look forward to the coming season, to the challenges it brings, and to meeting all members, new and old, in the clubhouse or on the course.

I will be delighted to make myself available to all members, if they believe that I can improve their experience of Kilsyth Lennox in any way. As a club we continue to invest in and improve on our course.

The last few years has seen some wonderful enhancements in the shape of crafted dry stane dykes and planting of trees and shrubs,all of which add to the pleasure of the playing experience.


I am particularly proud of the fact that our course provides some of the most spectacular views in the area from its vantage point on the Kilsyth Hills.

The course also contains, in my opinion, some of the toughest holes in Scottish Golf when the wind decides to bare its teeth.

Throw in the occasional shower of rain, and it provides you with a real challenge…. particularly when you are standing on the 6th tee, and already 8 over par….

But for all this our course is wonderful fun and a great experience for everyone. It is there to be enjoyed by all. I am sure that 2015 will be a successful season for us and I relish the challenge ahead. I will meet this challenge with you, the members, best interest at heart. I look forward to being your Captain.
