Ochil View Housing Association is based in Alloa in Clackmannanshire and provides new homes for rent and sale throughout Clackmannanshire and West Fife.
We are a non-profit making Scottish Charity governed by a voluntary Management Committee. We are regulated by the Scottish Housing Regulator.
We are committed to providing a wide range of quality services to those who require them and are committed to continuous improvement in everything we do.
History
The Association was established in 1989 to provide the necessary rented and low cost home ownership housing options previously provided by Clackmannanshire Council.
Its area of operation covered that defined by the local authority boundary of Clackmannanshire Council although this subsequently changed in 1997 with the acquisition of properties in West Fife.
In January 1998 the Association acquired 584 properties in Tullibody from the former national housing agency Scottish Homes. Since then the Association has continued to grow through new build developments.
In 1999 the Association acquired its current office premises at Ochil House, Marshill Alloa.
In 2001 we achieved our very first Investors in People accreditation.
In 2002 the Association achieved its charitable status.
In 2009 we completed our first shared equity project at The Glen Coalsnaughton.
In 2010 we celebrated our 21st Anniversary and launched the Strath For Housing Alliance.
In 2011 an independent tenant satisfaction survey confirms 86% satisfaction with our services provided.
In 2012 concluded our first Mortgage to Rent property acquisition.
In 2013 introduced Customer Service focussed staff structure. We were awarded Investors in People Silver status and awarded the Mental Health Commendation as part of the Healthy Working Lives initiative. Independent tenant satisfaction survey confirmed 91% satisfaction with services provided and we were appointed Managing Agents for NHT 2 partnership mid-market rent project at The Glen, Coalsnaughton.
