Bishopton Community Centre was opened in 1974.
It is situated in the central, community focus, area of the Village adjacent to the Health Centre, playing fields and Social Club
Its purpose is to provide accommodation to allow local organisations to function, which it has been doing successfully since it opened. In addition, the Centre has also hosted, and still does, a considerable number of “one off” events such as exhibitions, displays, public meetings and other functions.
The Centre is owned by Renfrewshire Council and is managed locally by an Association
The Association is responsible for all aspects of letting. For those wishing to hire accommodation, applications should be made to the Letting Convenor, either through the website or by paper application form. These are available in the Centre and should be returned there.
Opening hours are flexible and are dependent on demand.
