The Boat House is very pleased to be winner of Best Restaurant and Best Chef in County Down 2011, 2012,and 2014 2013, and Best Chef in Ulster 2012 by the Restaurant Association of Ireland (RAI). In 2014 we added to this list with having won the 'Best wine experience' in Co. Down.

Situated on the Seaside of the Seacliff Road right beside Bangor Marina, The Boathouse is a unique and enchanting historical building dating back to the 1840s. One of the ultimate goals during its refurbishment in 1992 was never compromising on the character of these former Coastguards - Harbour Master's house. We are delighted it retains much of its historical charm with its interior tastefully decorated.
