The glamorous galleries and the contrasting contemporary glazed Courtyard make Hertford House the perfect venue for corporate entertaining, exclusive private parties and unique wedding receptions.
The Events Team will provide a professionally managed event that leaves a lasting impression. All money generated by hire of the Wallace Collection goes towards its conservation and care and to the development of the ongoing education, events and exhibitions programmes.

The modern glazed Courtyard in the centre of Hertford House is approached through French doors on the ground floor. This dynamic, tree-lined space is enclosed by a soaring glass roof to make it a perfect venue throughout the year.

The Drawing Room Suite is made up of 5 interlocking, intimate rooms on the first floor, which all contain priceless paintings and furniture. This space is ideal for a networking drinks reception or pre-dinner drinks reception.

Located on the first floor, The Venetian Gallery houses an outstanding collection of Venetian views by Antonio Canaletto and Francesco Guardi. With pale blue silk-lined walls, it is a beautiful setting for a small dinner.

The Dutch Galleries are located on the first floor and house the Collection's finest Dutch Master paintings, including works by Rembrandt and his followers. With deep blue silk-lined walls, the Dutch Galleries are a magnificent setting for a small dinner.

The State Room is located on the ground floor. This room is a tribute to the patronage of King Louis XV (1715-74) and his mistress, Madame de Pompadour. It displays some of the greatest examples in the Wallace Collection of rococo art. With deep red silk-lined walls it is a grand space for a small dinner.

The Dining Room is located on the ground floor and is furnished with still-life paintings depicting fruit and game. The room sits adjacent to the Courtyard and so benefits beautifully from the natural daylight that spills in through the glazed roof.

The Great Gallery is located on the first floor and is the largest of the gallery entertaining spaces. It was purpose built to house many of the Collection's finest masterpieces, including the Laughing Cavalier, and works by Rubens, Titian and Rembrandt. Newly refurbished in 2014, it contains one of the finest collections of Old Master paintings in the world.
