WFC COVID-19 Policy

The Wally Foster Community Centre is now available for hire to the general public with COVID-19 conditions of use In addition we require: -

• Rapid lateral flow tests for all persons attending the event (https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests)
• The organiser/hirer is responsible for providing WFC with the Rapid lateral flow test information via the NHS Track & Trace app
• DBS Security required in addition to hall hire fee at £15.00 per hour (Preferred Supplier provided by WFC)
• Temperature check for all persons entering the building
• Capacity check on entry
• Venue must be setup according to WFC COVID-19 floor plan (Attached)
• Seating on tables of 4 only in relation to family bubble
• Table service is required for food and drink

The Wally Foster Community Centre is a large well established Community Centre in South East Hackney situated on Homerton Road and bordering Hackney Marsh. It is less than a mile from the Olympic Park and serves the local community of the Kingsmead Estate and surrounding roads and is available for use by all Hackney Residents. It is now the the largest Hackney Community Centre.

The Centre offers a large flexible hall ideal for Wedding, Christenings, Parties, Funerals and community meetings, two medium sized meeting rooms for smaller groups and business meetings, Christchurch Chapel and six offices.
