Breckenhill is a beautiful, rural venue in Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland, perfect for many different types of event. Set at the top of the valley where there used to be six textile mills using water power, the 18th century listed Georgian house and barn were built by the original mill-owner.

There are two converted barns at Breckenhill, the Stone Barn (up to 80 seated) and the Green Barn (upto 140 seated and 220 capacity) which are hireable for a wide variety of functions and activities. Breckenhill is ideal for a wedding and reception in exclusive, quiet surroundings and ceremonies are licensed anywhere in the grounds.

We also host all kinds of other celebrations and events from product launches and birthday parties to barbecues and hog roasts.

You can come for an activity day including a range of outdoor and teambuilding activities, including archery, paintball, traversing wall, orienteering, leadership tasks, Earthball games, tennis, team games and you can combine this with hosting a meeting or conference, award ceremony or presentation.


Breckenhill is very private and secluded, yet conveniently located, only 30 minutes drive from Belfast, and 15 from Ballymena. We are 25 minutes from Belfast International airport, 30 from the City airport, and 25 from Larne boat terminal. Set in 18 acres in the hills near Ballyclare,

The barns and surroundings are an ideal, secluded, and very private venue for your wedding. With a variety of indoor spaces we offer you very flexible choices.

Photographs can be taken around the attractive Georgian house and garden, or inside the house for a small additional fee. You can also use the neighbouring fishery for photographs.
