Clint Lodge country house, situated near Melrose in the stunning Scottish Borders. We are delighted to offer luxury bed and breakfast accommodation for individuals, families or private small conferences in beautiful surroundings. Guests can enjoy the rural splendour of our refurbished nineteenth century sporting lodge, but stay within easy access of the major Scottish Border towns.
Holiday breaks are also available in the adjacent self catering holiday cottage which has outstanding views over the River Tweed.
Built in 1869 by Lord Polwarth as the family’s shooting home, Clint Lodge is owned by the Duke of Sutherland, and is leased by Bill and Heather Walker (since March ’97). After extensive and careful refurbishment, Clint Lodge opened in August ’97.
Since 2009 Clint Lodge has been licensed for weddings and we invite you to email or call us to discuss your wedding or celebration event, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please visit our weddings page and ‘instant quote’ function where you will be able to calculate an example of your own wedding. We are confident you will see for yourself that Clint Lodge offers the opportunity to have ‘Your wedding, your way’. We strive to be value for money for such and exclusive and unusual luxury wedding venue.

WEDDINGS

Clint Lodge is a family run country house with 35 years of catering experience and because we are a small business we have the extra flexibility to make your day, your way.
From the early stages of planning right up to your big day we can offer our advice and guidance on everything from catering to flowers, decorations and wedding etiquette.
Unlike many venues that have a fixed menu plan, we encourage you to create your own special menu and to furnish you with an approximation of costs we have provided some menu examples.
Our intimate wedding packages start from only £2014. Please ask for our detailed 2014 celebration package for up to 25 day guests and 40 guests in total available Sunday to Thursday throughout the year.
