A rural hotel just 30 minutes drive from Edinburgh, in the gorgeous Lammermuir Hills. Carfraemill has a reputation for fantastic food, drawing on the best local produce that the Scottish Borders has to offer. Carfraemill has always been a place that gathers people together - entertaining is in our genes and we have a great reputation for meetings, parties, weddings and events.

We have a number of spaces to choose from:

Wood-panelled reception room: a large space, with a real sense of history, this room has numerous configurations and a thousand uses as a venue. Generous windows bring the landscape in, and the roaring log fire sets the scene on winter days. Seats up to 140.

Private rooms: choose from our country-chic Gallery room or our newly-refurbed conservatory with views out to the fields and the hills. Both seat up to 20.

Marquee (April-Nov): our stunning marquee is beautifully lined and has a neutral colour scheme. We have tonnes of ideas to help you make your event into something rather special here. Seats 80-300.
