Welcome to the Lauderdale Hotel, situated in the beautiful Scottish Borders town of Lauder and only 25 miles south of Edinburgh on the A68. The Lauderdale is a family owned and operated hotel with ten en-suite guest rooms, Restaurant, Lounge Bar, Function and Meeting facilities.
Our restaurant serves quality fresh food from locally sourced and seasonal produce, and we are open to non residents for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner until 9pm each evening. Breakfast, Tea and Coffee and home baking are available from 7am each morning.
The Lauderdale Hotel's location gives its guests access to one of the most scenic regions of the UK with an activity to suit everyone on offer close by. The Royal and Ancient Burgh of Lauder is steeped in history and retains its character whilst managing to play host to a vibrant modern day lifestyle with a range of restaurants, bars and cafes. The local festival week of 'Common Riding' providing a highlight to the year on the first Saturday of every August.
The Lauderdale provides an excellent base for world class fishing on the Tweed, some of the best shooting available and is a popular Mountain biking region with the 7stanes centre less than 30mins away . The area is also a walkers dream, situated on the Southern Upland Way and walkers are always welcome to rest their weary legs in front of a log fire in the hotel bar.
