We have two very unique properties, The Merchant’s House and Nisbet’s Tower.

With our friendly welcome, and thoughtful touches including Arran Aromatics toiletries, Scottish tablet on the pillows and luxury welcome hampers- we will ensure you have a relaxing and memorable stay. Nisbet’s Tower was the old doo’cot for the house, and has since been converted into an unusual holiday cottage for two. It is set up in an ‘upside down’ way, with a bedroom and shower room on the ground floor, and a charming open planned living, dining and kitchen area upstairs. The tower benefits from a lovely little garden area with stunning views across the whole of Eyemouth, the harbour and out to sea.

The Merchant’s House is situated in the top two floors of Gunsgreen House itself, and sleeps up to 11 people. This allows you to stay in amongst the secrets and the history, with the hidden tea chute and under-floor hiding spaces accessible from the landings and bedrooms. The views across the harbour are spectacular, and the large open planned living and dining area is light and spacious for families to relax and eat together.
