Welcome to the Hawick Mansfield House Hotel. We offer luxury en-suite accommodation, fine food, weddings, functions, event management, and much more in approximately ten acres of established grounds on the outskirts of Hawick, the largest of the Scottish Border towns famous for the Common Riding, rugby and knitwear. The original house, which was built in the 1800’s as a private residence, has been modernised to create a stylish and comfortable hotel.

Food is styled by our Head Chef and his team providing an ever-changing mix of traditional and modern using the best local suppliers. Informal dining is available in the hotel bar whilst the traditionally styled restaurant provides fine dining.

Our wine list offers value and quality from Europe and the New World. You will find the bar well stocked with malt whiskies, ales and lagers.

ACCOMMODATION

Our bedrooms are located on the first floor and basement levels with a mixture of traditional features in the old house and more modern proportions and appointments in the new wing. All rooms offer en-suite bathrooms, direct-dial telephones, digital colour televisions, tea & coffee making facilities and ample space to make your stay comfortable. Many of the rooms have been recently refurbished.

Our standard twin/double bedrooms provide flexible accommodation and are available for single occupancy subject to a supplement. We also have some superior twin/double rooms available. The Four Poster Suites have a number of stylish additions and one room has a four poster king-size bed.

The 1870 built former private house stands in 10 acres of gardens providing an excellent backdrop for wedding photographs and the personal attention of this family owned hotel ensures a wonderful day to remember.

Over the years The Mansfield House Hotel has hosted many a wedding and it truly is the ideal setting for your special day. Whether you choose a religious or civil ceremony our hotel is the perfect place to say ‘I do’. With facilities to cater for the smallest wedding meal and service and with the Thornwood Suite accommodating up to 200 for a dance, there is flexibility and choice to ensure your wedding is tailored just for you.

Other facilities can be arranged for you, especially for those not based in the Scottish Borders, from photographers to pipers, kilt hire to band and disco, luxury chauffeur driven cars to florists, there are some excellent Scottish Borders based professionals to ensure the perfect wedding. Importantly, we can arrange for a local minister or registrar to conduct the ceremony, religious or civil.
