Welcome to the Powfoot Golf Hotel. We offer luxury en-suite accommodation, fine food, golf breaks, weddings, functions, and much more in the charming village of Powfoot near Annan in Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland.

The original house, which was built in the 19th century as a private residence, has been modernised to create a stylish and comfortable hotel. There are wonderful views stretching for miles over the Solway Firth toward the Lakeland hills. Most of the eighteen bedrooms overlook the sea or Powfoot Championship Golf Course.

Food is styled by our Head Chef and his team providing an ever-changing mix of traditional and modern using the best local suppliers for meat, game, fish and shellfish. Informal dining is available in the Bunker Bar and Conservatory whilst the Grill Room provides fine dining.

ACCOMMODATION

Most of our bedrooms are located on the first floor with a mixture of the traditional features in the old house and more modern proportions and appointments in the new wing and outside appartments. All rooms offer en-suite bathrooms, direct-dial telephones, digital colour televisions, tea & coffee making facilities and ample space to make your stay comfortable. Some bedroom types have additional features. Most of the old house rooms look out over the sea whilst the new wing have the best views of Powfoot Championship Links.

Our standard twin/double bedrooms provide flexible accommodation and are available for single occupancy subject to a supplement. We have some superior twin/double rooms with a balcony overlooking the golf course and sea. Single rooms are also available.

The Four Poster Suites have a number of stylish additions as well as the four poster king-size bed.

With the world-famous Blacksmiths Shop at Gretna Green only a fifteen minute drive away it is not surprising that with our sea views and large function suite Powfoot Golf Hotel has long been a popular wedding venue. Whether you choose a religious or civil ceremony our hotel is the perfect place to say ‘I do’. As the perfect setting for your wedding we offer several packages to suit the size of your party and budget. Also, The Powfoot Golf Hotel is also the ideal location for those staying before and after wedding receptions either here, at nearby Comlongan Castle or any of the other romantic local venues.
