Welcome to Blackaddie House Hotel, a great place to relax and stay overnight or of course longer.

Since arriving at Blackaddie in September 2007 we have been constantly upgrading and refurbishing as time and money allows. It started out as a nine bedroom hotel with 3 self-catering cottages and we now have it down to 6 rooms, 1 suite and 2 self-catering cottages. Both of the cottages have 2 bedrooms to sleep 4 with one of the cottages being disabled friendly.

But it is our food coupled with our relaxed style of service and our friendly staff that set us apart from other places Our genuine passion for delivering the very best Scottish food with friendly, professional service has contributed towards us building an international reputation and gaining many awards making Blackaddie a romantic retreat to escape for a perfect break, or to celebrate a special occasion and sample great food and relaxed yet with attentive service.

This is a wonderful part of the country and there are some great things to do, beautiful places to explore nearby that all help in making Blackaddie the ideal spot for a truly memorable & unique wedding. The type of ceremony is also up to you with all details individually tailored, be it a Civil Ceremony or a Christian Ceremony, either in our local church or at the hotel itself, inside or outside with the river Nith as the backdrop to your perfect day. We can take care of everything from a piper to a chauffeur driven Rolls Royce and everything in between while also providing memorable food throughout your stay.
